“The only person who can pull me down is myself, and I’m not going to let myself pull me down anymore.”
― C. JoyBell C.

I woke up this morning with the urge to write a little poem about my experience on this 40 Day Journey. I feel the change in me.. I smile at myself more, I dance with myself more, I take care of myself more.. I sing to myself more.. and I draw and photograph for myself more!

… and we are not even at the end of the challenge yet!!

Woo Hoo!!

lovepebblesToday’s Self-Love

Today’s self-love is gentle…

Today’s self-love is kind.

I listen to my body,

I quiet my mind.

Today’s compassion is with me,

Today is for great care..

I kindly take part in silence;

And hear what I have to share.

Today’s kindness envelops me..

Today’s love is true

I wrap myself in serenity

Some for me. .. and some for you.

Today’s is just beginning

Tomorrow is not far away..

But for now my spirit cares deeply;

For the whatever comes my way..

When the time for sleep is near;

When my body is ready to rest.

I will close my eyes in prayer;

Proud to have given myself the very best!
